ReplyDeleteThis year, especially, I've felt the "not just my students, they're OUR students" culture. I needed help with some kids who were coming from troubled homes. The support I received from the kids' former teachers who'd already built awesome relationships with the kids and families was amazing and left me feeling bolstered to be their advocate/cheerleader in 4th grade. It's been a wonderful year thanks to my elementary team!

I really appreciate that none of us ever feel like we have to compete with the other, but really are there to help each other be the best teachers we can be.
